OGCI: COP28 Oil & Gas Decarbonization Charter an “important milestone” for the industry

The Oil and Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI) welcomed the COP28 presidency’s launch of the Oil & Gas Decarbonization Charter (OGDC) calling it an important milestone that will help align the broader oil and gas industry towards a net-zero future.

Oil and Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI) member companies stepped up low-carbon investment in 2022 to $24.3 billion and increased activities to help other companies decarbonize while continuing to reduce emissions from operations to meet their target of net zero operations.
