Net Zero Teesside to announce MoUs with 3 existing industrial partners to decarbonise local industry at the official launch event held in Middlesbrough. An extensive impact assessment on the construction phase of the project estimates an annual gross benefit of up to £450 million for the Teesside region and the support of up to 5,500 direct jobs.

The members of the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI) meet senior government representatives from Clean Energy Ministerial Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage Initiative countries (CEM CCUS Initiative), to reaffirm their intent to catalyse and facilitate the launch of an economically viable, environmentally responsible and safe CCUS industry worldwide.
