As a Programme Manager in the Strategy & Policy team, Hugo leads the Natural Climate Solutions and the Low Emissions Opportunities workstreams. In this role, Hugo works closely with experts across member companies to support the scale up of high-integrity nature-based solutions and carbon markets and supports the involvement of member companies on strategic issues related to the global energy transition.
Prior to joining OGCI, Hugo worked as a strategy consultant for the energy sector with Blunomy and Systemiq and served as a researcher at the UK-based Energy Transitions Commission.
Hugo holds a BEng in Energy Engineering from McGill University and a Certificate of Graduate Studies in Finance and Corporate Sustainability from Bocconi University.
